When the whole world stop due to a lethal virus such as Covid-19, You have to think how will life look or what will the new normal be. In a capitalist society we see so much competition between companies and even each other. We have gotten into a place where we see people cannot even afford the bare necessities more than usual to the point where we had to give out stimulus checks. We as a country have had the tight hand on money so much even in time such as this so it begs the question if whether or not we can live in this society after COVID. The competition will most likely never fade because we as people have gotten so acclimated to just being for ourselves that we do not look out for our fellow man. Our government has gotten to the point where they feel the people are test dummies for seeing how this virus works and only aiding if it comes dire. Even in a time like this we see workers more overworked and exploited because some would rather get unemployment then join the fold and work. We as a society and country have become so comfortable expecting help from the government whenever we need that now that everyone needs help they cannot provide without one party disagreeing with something. So after COVID where do we go because this experience has shaped everyone in a way where you've felt the effects of whether you lost resources or am missing something essentIal to your everyday life. So whenever we come out of COVID are we gonna still have a loose hand on what happens to the people and keep letting them fend as they were before or are we to command the government keep a firmer hand on what happens to the people so we can avoid people being overworked due to improper handling of COVID.
