When I first registered for Econ 101 I thought it would be a class talking about finances and money management and that king of stuff. I quickly learned that my first impression was wrong. throughout the semester I learned that economics was a lot more based on morality than I originally thought. I even began seeing economics in my other courses. For instance, in my Western Civilizations class we discussed the economic factors that contributed greatly to the revolutionary period and even the world wars. The people advocated for more say in the trade and market systems of their days and that lead to formations of political parties and eventually to wars. It was kind of cool to see my different classes come together in this way. While I still can't say that economics is my favorite subject, I do have a new understanding and appreciation for it.

Hey Faith,
I totally agree, I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I started Econ. But I feel that I have learned so much more than what I thought I would. I enjoyed this class and I hope you did to!
