I was shocked to find out how vulnerable the Russian economy was and also how small the economy was. Comparably to Texas economy or less than Italy's. Also its main source of income were oil and gas which makes it dependent on foreign trade. The fall in its currency over a few days have been surprising. Glad you tied this to economics and the effect on the society as a whole.

I always thought that India or China were the biggest markets for McDonald's and surprised that Japan who I deemed very healthy-eating people are the biggest market for McDonald's outside the US. The size of the company allows it favorability in fair prices for supplies of goods and services and that transfers to its low prices which lowers its prices and gives it an edge over its competitors. Work was well written and cited effectively in APA.
